용 Love, February 14th, 2024.
Collaborated with a local restaurant in Koreatown for a Lunar New Year/Valentine’s Day Crossover called 용 Love. 용 is pronounced “young,” but means dragon in Korean. The title was a playful pun on the fierce leaps of courage we take when we fall in love in our youth… Despite a tight budget of $1,200, we were able to fabricate a full scale immersive installation. Not only did we manage to source 3 palettes of real grass, totalling over 1,200 sq of coverage, but we also sourced enough recycled materials to build a life-size Korean gazebo with matching TV sets and projector screens.
